Cappadocia was once famous for breeding the best horses, and the region today hosts traditional handcrafts. The local artists discovered the beauty in the mud of the soil carried by the Kızılırmak(red river), and with their sensitive fingers produced beautiful pottery. The tradition has been passed on from their ancestors to their descendants.
