Although hot air balloon tourism has been tried in many regions around the world, it has not been as successful as the Cappadocia region. Today, the hot air balloon sector, which employs about 2000 people and plays a leading role in the development of the region, has become an indispensable part of Cappadocia. The ballooning adventure in Cappadocia started in 1984 with the launch of a hot air balloon brought by RAKS cassette company for an advertising project.
